Why would anyone resort to reading FreeBSD documentation when you can read the source and manpages for macOS?

I worked remotely years before the pandemic, and it was great, for the most part. But there are people who definitely hate it. And there are also people who love it, but can't be trusted with it.

The document you are referencing has no mention of remote access to a phone. The fact that apple chooses to gatekeep unrelated features and seemingly cites EU regulation to explain this behavior is just absurd. And the amount of people comi

I will reiterate that most if not all desktop/laptop class x86 hardware as it is deployed in the wild does not care about multicast performance.

With multiple processes listening for the data? I think that's a market niche. In terms of billions of devices, multicast is mostly used for zero-config service discovery. I am not saying there isn't a market for high-bandwidth mu

Because the same exact tech, remote desktop access on macOS, has been working fine for years. That's how I know this has nothing to do with DMA, GDPR and the AI act. Yes, there might be AI features that are gatekept due to DMA and GDPR

Privacy concerns? They're just trying to bully the EU. There's no legal or technical reason iOS 18's remote access features wouldn't work in EU, but alas, they do not.

Multicast may well be shitcanned to an expensive slow path, given that multicast is rarely used for high bandwidth scenarios, especially when multiple processes need to receive the same packet.

If you argue about nomenclature, yes, Xcode and cargo fit into entirely different categories. However, they are still comparable you can't feasibly escape either to develop Swift or Rust apps the way most people develop them.

I have to always add wildcards between func and the function name, because I can never know how the other developer has decided to specify the name of the receiver. This will always be a problem as far as grepping with primitive tools that

Banks dont want to lend money to them as often/much/favorably, coops usually don’t want investment. To start a business you need capital, if you have enough on your own, you do not need a coop, much more difficult to convince a gr
