Ageing is nature's way of making way for the young. If we cured ageing there would be more motivation to suppress new births, and then people like you and I might never have come along.

Odd use of the word "competent", you implying Apple personnel aren't competent because they didn't send a message saying "thank you" with gold stars all over it?

It used to be a golden rule for investors that they should see signs of needless ostentation (e.g. a fountain in reception, limos for all executives) as a danger signal. Excuse the pun but making a film about yourself does not send out a go

Maybe they downvoted you because you are parading your lack of attention span (or perhaps your lack of comprehension). To use terms like "fools" or "bait and switch" when you really meant "tl;dr" or "why aren't there more pictures" is more

Depriving others of revenue IS theft. If the terms of use for a service or product require payment then any use without payment is, in effect, theft. These juvenile justifications are how 13-year olds comfort themeselves about their behavio

Who said it was revolutionary? To quote myself from another post on this page "The missed expectations were held by fanboy contributors to MacRumors and the equally witless anti-fanboys (fandroids for the most part) who chimed in with "Ha!

Somewhat padded article. I wonder if SQL Server actually provides a facility to parse your SQL and highlight deprecated features. The runtime counters are handy but only count features which are executed so you can't guarantee to catch ever

That was done as a reaction to Oracle, if OpenOffice becomes viable again and gains traction it can change back. LibreOffice's staying power depends on how much of their effort was simply "sticking it to Oracle", if they get bored and fade

If you really didn't care about being fat you wouldn't even post. The rest is rationalisation, I mean why hang on 'til 50? Go for it, emulate Hendrix, or Joplin, live fast, die at 27. Health issues typically kick in just after 30 ..
