Interesting -- that sounds very good. They're actually community-based schools, in a very true sense.

I think you can use some enlightenment, as well. You should visit the US/Mexico border to see the "some". Generalizations are never 100% complete (by definition). But so much poverty and corruption, and so much desperate mi

You mean the 2 North American countries? Yes, the U.S. and Canada are similar in that they have functioning economies, and citizenry that is not desperately trying to flee.

Then why are so many migrants crossing Mexico (walking, spending lifes' savings on coyotes, sending children alone, ...) to come to the US?

A symptom, at most. Mexico and South American countries have very few assassinations, yet all of them are failed states.

It has been over 10 years for me, with no regrets. I'm fine with Hollywood being a 20th century relic -- way past time to move on.

That logo of money changing hands makes a bad impression IMHO. It made me laugh, but I doubt that's their goal. It seems like self-parody, though I'm sure it's not.

My respect for Nobel prizes ceased when they awarded the peace prize to Obama for simply having won an election. Nothing against Obama, but it revealed how meaningless and political Nobel prizes are.

Why fill to capacity? Even at small scale, a venue might hold 500 people, but it's probably a nicer experience if there are far less than that many there.

It's a taboo topic because of people's fears and anxieties that it triggers. A (cold) rational perspective sees that many (if not most) challenges facing society share a root cause of there being simply too many people.

I completely agree. But there was hypocrisy: Google allowed (maybe still does) conversation on that topic -- but the views he had on that topic didn't agree with the narrative that was/is popular. Those chips fell quite unfairly
