I think it might be provable that you'll eventually hit a loop. EDIT: I suppose one disproof would be the existence of articles that don't have a second link.

More info on this? Unless I'm misunderstanding something, in my own test, this isn't true. You can hit loops, e.g. the page for Russia goes to Eastern Europe which goes back to Russia.

Sometimes, there's value in providing a standard way of doing things. Even if it isn't perfect in all cases (or even a median case), then at least most people coalesce around how it's used and its limitations. But yeah, somet

For me, I tend to think of "3x" and "cheaper" as separate operations. So "3x cheaper" sounds like you're saying new_price = price - 3*price . That (usually) makes no sense, so I assume people mean somethi

How would one demonstrate a character who is so powerful that they can "just fucking vanish " without having them do just that? You could go on to explain that fact or similar, but I think driving home that point any more than

Chekhov's Gun is but one playwright's opinion on what makes for "correct" dramatic structure. As others have also stated, Tom is one of my favorite characters purely because he is left so unexplained. Tolkien sought to

The 128GB model was selling for $300 before this hike. Source: looking at a Best Buy listing right now for it (no sales or anything like that mentioned).

In general, I think it's easy to conflate simplicity with ease. Ease is always a matter of context and what one is familiar with. I agree that Rust is simpler than C++ and I think a lot of people mean that Rust isn't easier (up fr

While I intend to learn more Rust, compatibility with existing code is a big reason why I'm paying attention to Zig. It's not yet 1.0 and it's closer to C than C++. However, because it's meant to compile and interop with

My main exposure to this technique was with the various in-game plugins one could install on a hacked Sony PSP. Even though I had an interest in programming from a young age, before learning how to use those plug-ins, it hadn't really

You bought the car. You're free to put whatever fuel in it that you like, but anything other than our own Super Xtreme CarFuel Plus is not supported (and will likely total your vehicle). A bit more seriously: there are shades of grey.
