I got the same failure with a WebKit nightly. I run Java applets and JWS apps from the browser all the time, so the Java Plugin doesn't seem to be broken on my system. Could it be because I'm still stuck on Java 1.5?

Have you tried Wesabe? Similar Firefox extension but with a strong community and more features. Not to mention more people working on it!

I've been meaning to learn Python for a while, and this seems like a good chance to jump in. Are there any books out on Python 3.0 yet?

I'm not sure I like this approach. What's to say that the changes in line 4 don't really depend on line 2? I'd rather make dependency more explicit with some mechanism like feature branches.

There's always Lending Club! They seem to have made it through the whole SEC process and out the other side recently. They do have some lender requirements that I don't meet, unfortunately.

Man I wish I had this for OS X apps. I know there are tons of awesome apps out there for the Mac, and I use many, but if there were some central place to find them I'm sure I'd buy more.

And Subversion is perfectly appropriate for your uses! TortoiseSVN is a snap to use (and it's not the only great svn GUI out there), and Subversion seems to make sense to people. The only reason I see to use git is if you're trying to keep

I love GitX. While I'm developing I leave it up alongside Eclipse, and I actually like having a separate interface to my source control outside the IDE.

I don't like the behavior of the tabs. When I wanted to back to browsing all projects, I clicked on "Browse." That didn't work, so I tried my back button. That didn't work either. Then, several minutes later, I noticed the "Back" link. This
