yup! I'll never change it, most the projects I've made use it in some way. There's little variance in how I implement the drawing, but the specs are good enough for anything I might want to do with fonts :)

I'm currently away from reliable network and I can't manage to load the bible-columns image, I will try once we return to Canada. I've added proportional fonts to Left because, after writing loads of THINK Pascal, I felt like

Of course, I've really enjoyed your exploration of uxn, and all your comments are accurate. Uxn11 has a special device to spawn linux processes(like playing a mp3 on disk with aplay), it can be disabled in devices/console, I wonde

Tal is the assembly language of the uxn CPU, it doesn't abstract any mechanical operation from the virtual machine, it's not a high level language but it could be a target for one. For instance, this is a C compiler that targets U

Hi kragen, hi amatecha! Someone sent me this thread so I could answer, and I do agree. I for one think uxn is trivial, it was directly inspired by the VM running Another World and created to address a similar need. It's not especially

My partner and I run a small video game studio and we wanted a bytecode format we could run on every device we owned, so we made a 100ish lines VM spec, and implemented these thin emulation layers for the different platforms. My wiki, our g

I was wondering the same thing, it was a let down to realize later that the article took a hard turn away from some kind of future-proofing for a time when RAM might not be as ubiquitous, and chose something that is likely to be ridiculed i
