Well my farmer grand father, born in Europe in 1914 would eat four meals. First a light breakfast very early, with a soup. Then around 10 a meat-based light meal after some hard work. Then at 13 lunch, and finally a dinner.

Norman D. Cook has some very nice papers about harmony and tri-chords that make the case that intervals are not what matters when it comes to characterizing more complex harmonies: http://www.res.kutc.kansai-u.ac.jp/~cook/

Also from what I understand, certain homophones are differentiated in practice by differing accenting (raising/lowering) in speech. This is however region specific.

The 1541 Ultimate SD Card drive is worth checking out: http://www.1541ultimate.net/content/index.php It is emulating a complete 1541 floppy drive and should have pretty good compatibility with demos.

I agree with you, I think engineers should also take care of the trash, watch out for the car park and the accounting, check the budget, talk to customers and handle paper work for taxes.

You need to try this stunt in France then because you are totally misguided about "most people." I've had scared reactions from people in front of me just for looking at my own camera's pictures. The climate in France is that people should

I think the onus is on those damn men to get the fuck out and interact with women normally in the course of their lives, so as not to educate themselves about what it is to interact respectfully with other human beings.

Hearing "How are you?" at a grocery store or a fast food place was a kind of culture shock for me when I visited the USA from Europe. I did not know how to answer either, you have to be accustomed to it to find it normal, when a simple "Hi,

Variations of this comment are made on just about any story about 4kB intros. This is not a very interesting point to me because of how it forgets that in any case, software never exist into a vacuum, and hardware is needed for it. And that

I really have to wonder, why is there no "peer to peer" social network? It seems ideally suited for this type of usage, and this would ensure that data is only in each node rather than on some central server. Does something exist like that

asm is not required anymore (besides reading it for debugging or optimization purposes) you'd rather have to learn practical 3d/2d math and try many things out.

(not the author) What do you mean hot loading? In both cases we write to c, I don't think c needs to be in the cache at all. (Despite my belief this wasn't the difference, I also tested pre-initialization and it does not make a difference)
