I agree with a lot of the posts here, but noticed one way of learning (specifically about programming, but it applies to most creative endeavors I've enjoyed) that I have not seen mentioned, which is to learn by teaching. I'm sel

I think you have a great defining moment here, but there is one other that is just as foundational in regards to solidifying ground upon which one can grow away from childhood - that in almost all cases, we're all lost and doing some r

I'm not exactly sure and I'm certainly not big on legalese. The premise is meant to be a compromise, where a select few "works" can be held in practical perpetuity, while simultaneously forcing others to be contributed

That's the compromise. Disney gets "The Mouse" for the entirety of its existence as a legal entity, and six more works. And that's it. After that, they'll need to start being thrify with their copyright or releas

I see, thank you for clarifying. Having used all versions of Windows up until 8[1] and 8+ years of ubuntu, I'm surprised I never realized this standard existed. It makes perfect sense that it does - I just didn't know it. I agr

Is the issue specific to terminal or are you seeing it somewhere else? The issue is that the default terminal behavior of ctrl+c sends a SIGINT to the running application[1], and so terminal programs override it with shift+ctrl+c, and likel
