The Cirklon is not a midi controller, but a sequencer. There is nothing else on the market with its same feature set and build quality. It is a wonderful device and there’s a reason they are so crazily popular.

I own an Allen and Heath Xone analog mixer and it has wonderful build quality and was quite cheap (sub $500). Much better than many of the cheap mixers I’ve used I’ve the years. A&H have a deserved reputation for great build quality.

For sure. My definition of legalisation also includes policing people who sell one thing and call it something else. Just like with regular goods.

Decriminalisation or legalization would mean no fentanyl in the heroin supply and therefore many fewer unnecessary deaths.

My apologies, I misread your original comment. In any case, Carlsen said he wasn't aware of the prize money difference after reaching tie breakers, so it probably didn't factor into his decision making.

I think you misunderstand how the prize money is allocated. They both got 400k for competing, and the winner would take 200k. Since they went to tiebreaks the winner only got 150k while the loser gets 50k. So in this sense Magnus didn’t rea

Jerry at ChessNetwork is so wonderful! He's almost single-handedly responsible for my growing interest in Chess. He is such a clear communicator, and his passion for the game is infectious.

I just started playing with Go's WebAssembly support last night. Support is still nascent but I was able to get up and running very quickly, and the API is dead simple: https://github.com/golang/go/wiki/W

An approach I've used on the Go side is to build nice native Go types and converters to/from proto representations for wire marshaling. There's a minor performance hit but it's insignificant for what I'm doing. The

You don't see "pub" where a name is used , only where it is declared. Once you've been using Go for a little while the benefits become obvious.

Those things aren't being "cute". For example, upper/lower case for exported/unexported is a huge readability benefit. You would be less frustrated if you took the time to understand why these decisions were made, i

The proposed contracts design is quite different to Java and C++'s generics. Why should they use the same syntax? If you want Java and C++ then they are there for you to use. Go is a different language and its differences are not gratu
