That's not quantum supremacy. It's about doing something on a quantum computer that would be infeasible on a standard computer. This is because in some scenarios a single calculation by a quantum computer could be equivalent to

I thought the Planck scale was way on the QM side of things. My understanding is that the Planck scale is so small we theoretically can never test QM or any other processes below it, making the Planck scale the limits to our understanding

The problem is trying to minimize human trafficking or suggesting that it's ok as long as the victim appears to be willing.

I don't have the context of the original quote, but from what you wrote, none of those are inaccurate. The most common problem with human trafficking is that the trafficcer places the victim in a position where they are or appear to b

There were cgi dinos as well. Remember the First scene with the brontosauruses, or the stampede scene? Or the scene when the raptors jump on the Tyrannosaurus?

The NSA is responsible for setting standards for DoD networks. They don't even secure DoD networks, that's still the network owner. DHS has a similar role for government networks outside the DoD, but that's a complete mess,

My understanding is the transition to a white hole exists instead of a singularity at the interior of the black hole, and is therefore hidden by the event horizon. When the event horizon shrinks to the Planck length, the white hole is expo

Secession was starting the war. You can't declare independence and expect a country not to respond. The southern states knew that secession was illegal and would bring about war. The Confederacy started the war in every important wa

You have to have a theory to test before you can test it. If they are stating as fact something that hasn't been proven, that's a problem. If they are testing the assumptions which closest matches the data, that is science.

Arbitrary doesn't mean random. It means chosen randomly, as in any Turing Machine chosen randomly will work in that situation. The output isn't random, the output for one Turing Machine should be the same for all Turing Machines

It's not like entropy will halt in that time. Worrying about efficiency of each individual calculation is a little ridiculous when you are wasting billions of years for the ambient temperature to drop.

Given the choice, I would like to do more than just make money when something takes the majority ( or a large minority) of my time. A job can have meaning, and for me that makes it a lot was it? We to wake up in the morning.
