Very OT, but I can't wait for this web design fad to go away, where every element is animated and stuff flies around and fades in from every direction. It's like 90's GeoCities, but with more whitespace. Also, I have a Radeon

I disagree with you, and I think you're wrong, but I suspect political arguments of this nature are extremely offtopic on HN. If I'm going to make enemies here, I'd like it to be over my intense dislike of JavaScript, Docker

Unrelated to Snap, but on Windows, trying to use the My Documents folder for your actual documents is frustrating, because a huge number of apps and games like to use the folder for all sorts of nonsense, instead of using %appdata% like the

Try using mixed DPI displays. My main display is 27 inch 4K display, and on the sides I have old 19 inch 1280x1024 displays, used for IRC, music player, process monitor, email etc. Stuff I glance at from time to time. _NOTHING_ supports thi

What bias? Who is biased? Quick duckduckgoing indicates there are far more male than female doctors in the US. So statistically, it would be correct to return mostly male doctors in an image search. If you want a photo of a specifically gen
