More like 5-10 days. There will be a massive spike on Wednesday when test results from Quest start coming in.

I disagree. One of two things are going to happen. 1. Significant quarantines in areas which have never seen them. or 2. Mass infection and death. Both will be remembered.

Maybe in a way. I think they are driving at an orthogonal argument. The DNA is more or less useless without cells. It seems like the machinery of the cell carries information about the whole of the organism in an abstract sense.

Exactly #1. From what I've seen, in a best case scenario we have 30k extra ventilators. Reportedly, 6% of cases require ventilation. Some quick math shows that only .16% of the population needs to be infected at the same time for our v

Minor correction, you make it sound like 2% of 20% which is a .4% fatality rate. The total fatality rate is 2%

I keep seeing similar arguments. Does that mean China's response is based on FUD? If it is really just a flu, then why the drastic measures?

I don't believe that applies here. I remember seeing on another thread that you would expect to see lots of 20-50 year old deaths with CRS, like the Spanish flu. From what I've seen, COVID mortality seems to be proportional to age

Comedic gold here. I wonder what things will change if it becomes seasonal? The community nuts may have to go.

The boundary of a line segment is its end points. Intuitively, it a line doesn't have end points, then it's a loop i.e. a closed curve without boundary

I believe the article posted yesterday pointed out that Orcas will eat shark liver, which is about 25% of a shark by weight and also very calorie dense.
