GRRM has a similar approach, the outline way mentioned above is really helpful for those not that gifted, Brandon Sanderson mentions it heavily talking about his fiction writing (if you're telling a story you know you already have an o

Just pushed live an app today that I had to cave and add babylon-polyfill so it would work in IE 11 after trying to polyfill a dozen missing es6 runtime features from various sources. That made the final JS output 25% larger, a 90kb increas

This is a massive issue with the stateless aspect of HTTP, since the history API doesn't refresh the page and the state and components don't update (since its a React app) there's no magic needed to keep scroll position, but

The only thing not lasting more than 5 years in my 20+ years owning computers are Macs, other iDevices and PCs are much, much stabler. Macbook Pro 2008 (died in 3 years), iMac 27 2010 (died in 4.8 years), Macbook Air 2013 (dying) and Mac Mi

Dapper was a great fit when we had a pretty ugly Entity Framework 1.1 (eek!) build a few years ago, so all the heavy duty of writing and handling entities trees was left to the ORM and pure SQL queries materialized by Dapper were used for c
