We're using tsearch2 right now. It's not very flexible, and it has lots of irritating gotchas - or I'm not a competent enough sysadmin to use it properly.

We use Trac at Justin.tv. The only thing that really bothers me is that it's kind of slow - up to 2 seconds to load a page. Other than that, it seems "good enough", but I'm sure there are advances to be made that I've never thought of.

Whether or not you'd provide your login details, the business model is far from dumb. They have an amazing amount of information about you that can be used for incredibly targeted advertising.

I use both extensively, and Mint is far superior. You get an immediate understanding of where your money is going that BoA's stuff doesn't even attempt to provide.

While it's true there is no independent body that records the record number of flash streams, we checked with everyone else we know that runs large streaming flash video and it's the highest by a wide margin.

Simple video activity isn't enough to establish interestingness in our experience. We'd like to screen "dead" live streams out of lists, but I think there's an easier, social, solution to that problem.

You're right we don't have a central place to view upcoming events yet. That will be changing...

You're right about that - and we have no desire to enter the porn industry in any case.

We don't supply the hardware; we don't run any very many of the streams on our site at all. So really, if people want to use our site for doing things with tripods and zoom lenses, that's up to them, not us.

Web applications, databases, and APIs are all really very simple. An api is just a collection of functions (or ways of calling functions) someone else wrote. A database is just an api to store tuples. A web application is just a program tha

Actually, we got slammed by approximately 150,000 13 year old girls at the same time. We hit the file descriptor limit on the load balancer - oops.

I'm no lisp hacker, so that part stood out to me as particularly hard to understand in comparison to the rest of the code which was perfectly clear to me. I had to re-read it a number of times to figure out what it meant; obviously, if I wa

I like the abbreviations you're using. "w/" in particular is extremely readable. And who wouldn't love a function call (isnt it #\;) in real code. #\; looks a little bit like Perl walked into the middle of your Arc program though.

We couldn't figure out N, U, or Z either. Q is easy - QuickBasic, under the same theory as V. Whitespace - good call! We couldn't think of a W.
