If you sell a course you made 100% profit, basically very little chances of loss, and your business can go to zero overnight, but not negative, and very little needed to scale up. Compare that to running a real business where things change

I used emacs for a year and a quarter as a common lisp developer. There was an integration into emacs from the compiler that provided support for a lot of things like jumping definitions and seeing who calls, and it was much better than the

Yup. There are a lot of physics concepts I broadly understand, but solving a problem for them is a different beast. edit: Also, speaking as someone who mostly taught themselves physics from the books in college and didn't go to class.
