Interesting. How modern are we talking exactly? More ext2-modern, XFS-modern or ZFS-modern?

A lot of these applications could be done with a smartphone and VR. Most did not (see the failure of QR codes). I doubt that people will get dedicated hardware to perform this task.

While the maintainer does not seem very comprehensive, posting this bug report here is passive aggressive behavior at its best. What do you expect of the discussion here that could not be more productive there?

This is seriously great and very intuitive to use. Two small improvements : it would be great to be able to change brushes (at least size). The workaround is zoom/draw/unzoom which is a bit awkward. The second thing is to add an example on

This is not how it works. The next release name is announced approximately when the freeze starts. When a release happens, oldstable is archived, stable become the new oldstable, and the current state of testing becomes the new stable. For

They could still sell support. The "open source, closed addons, paying support" business model can work great (Red Hat, VMWare, certain Oracle products...).

In the presence of polymorphism and mutable cells, value restriction (or a restriction thereof) is necessary to establish type soundness (ie that typed programs are safe), so I'd argue that it achieves this goal. As for this explanation, I'

I was not totally right in the my "uncle" comment. It has to do with the value restriction in the sense that it is where the distinction occurs (lambdas are never genezalized ; let-bindings are generalized for values), but the original HM s

Yes. For example, if you generalize reference values, you can type ref [] as ∀a. (a list) ref, then store [4] to it, then retrieve a float from the head of the stored list, thus breaking the type system. It is a bit similar to array type va

Hindley-Milner (never seen it written as M-H) is beautiful because it's an elegant extension of simply-typed lambda calculus (STLC) that brings a very useful trait, polymorphism. Here the first 3 rules are those of STLC. The magic happens i

Shouldn't the super call be: super(MyFancyRequestHandler, self).send_response(code, message=message) instead of: super(MyFancyRequestHandler, self).send_response(code, message=None) (or even better, with args and kwargs)?
