Aren't you acting against the whole compost part then? The point is to have bugs and so on decompose what's in the compost bin, as far as I know.

In /r/sweden they basically say "This is a national security issue, EU isn't a nation, we want to deal with this ourselves". And then they rant a little on how the Guardian is way2leftist.

One example would be this: > If you misspell a variable [...], you discover this at run time. Ouch. CL-USER> (defun square (n) (* nn n)) ;; Ouch! nn isn't defined! ; in: DEFUN SQUARE ; (* NN N) ; ; caught WARNING: ; unde

(define square ((a number)) :out number (+ a 2)) This program is arguably incorrect, even though the types match up and there is no mutable state.

So simply that a language does not support car/cdr but uses first/rest instead disqualifies itself as a Lisp?

How isn't Clojure a Lisp? What is a Lisp according to you? I'm not asking this in an agressive way, btw, I'm just really curious.

What do you mean exactly? I mean, Common Lisp is incompatible to Scheme for example.

Do you have any other nice interviews with Chomsky like that? I find it very hard (as a non-native speaker) to hear and understand what he says in interviews, so text is best for me...

It's very cool for someone who really wants that extra push to convince themselves that Common Lisp is awesome and is used by awesome people ;)

Author also uses defn instead of defun, he's probably a Clojure...Ista? Clojurer?

Oh, wow, really? So just because some people are asking "Hey, is there something intrinsically wrong with these guides or what?" they're defending sexual assault.

I think the "inane comments" one is a joke about /g/, they sent him a mail asking him to come and visit the site and he responded with something akin to "I did but there was only inane comments".

I started at 12 with C++, then I went over to 13 and learnt some Python, then I learnt Lisp at 16 and that's when I started to actually learn programming. I know this sounds like a "lel Lisp is superior to your blub lang" but it's more of a
