You aren't doing yourself any favours by making these comments... you seem a little too easily offended that some people disagree with your message.

I use self-hosted GitLab. It's very similar to GitHub, but our company has full control and ownership over our code.

Having your fingerprint as the key is no different than having a physical key. Which the police can steal and use. It's not in your head, so there is no 5th amendment protection for self-incrimination. I only see it being useful as an

If you're being contacted by an anonymous person you have no idea who they are in the first place. Since you don't know an anonymous person's identity, how are you supposed to fetch and validate their public key?

As someone who mostly writes Scala at work, I love it, and definitely recommend you to. The language is not without its faults, but it remains my personal favourite.

In my experience, trying to use KDE is always a waste of a _lot_ more than a few hours. And even once I've got it configured the way you like, it feels like it's barely holding together with duct-tape at the seams. There's al

Been working with Scala for 1.5 years and loving it. sbt feels easy to work with, compile times have improved (and you can improve it further by modularizing your app). Scala gets a lot right. Type inference makes it feel dynamic while st

I really don't understand how coffeescript is cleaner or easier to understand. To me the syntax is much more confusing and ambiguous and takes more time to understand where things go... or just to hunt down the little comma responsible
