You can already accomplish this by looking at the difference between critic reviews and audience reviews on rotten tomatoes.

This is literally just a political rant scribbled while slamming the door on an ex-employer. Seems like Facebook has reduced it's bias by one engineer as a result.

Sort of like buying a car and then referring to people who haven't bought the car as privileged for still having the money the car cost. Except in this case, the people who didn't buy the car are already actively paying taxes towa

I've long been looking for a wikipedia for political stances. So you can sort of choose your own adventure going deep into the set of perspectives and why people choose them. Maybe building that would be impossible because the bias of

It's possible to be a rockstar developer without being a diva. Some devs are just genuinely skilled at the tech and also at being good coworkers.

I've never really liked platitudes like "family is everything" and "nothing matters without relationships" -- they don't seem to come from a good place. People who lack these things may enjoy their lives every

My 25+ year career has been mostly C/C++ and over the past few years started using Python. It constantly blows my mind how much more productive I am with Python vs C/C++ or Javascript. Ideas just seem to flow directly from my mind

I really like Habitica, but like so many productivity apps, you can't nest tasks into arbitrarily deep hierarchies. To me, that's a completely essential feature. You can have sub-tasks, if I recall correctly, but only one level de

Hierarchically decompose your total distance and count it out at each order of magnitude. I used to row indoors quite a bit and would count each 100 meters, incrementing to track each 1000 meters. Helps both to focus on short term goals but

There's basically no chance a mandatory vaccine will happen in the US at least. If it somehow made it through the legal/political side of things, it wouldn't make it through the people side of things. Especially if it's

It sounds like the link between GOP and "shot" (single camera shot, presumably) is being done explicitly. I would've expected this to happen automatically through their production pipeline but I guess it wasn't.

Writing this sort of bot seems like a legitimately fun and interesting thing to work on, but somehow I have less than zero interest in actually doing it. There's just something intrinsically repulsive about the entire blockchain world

One interesting way to look at this is as a bit twiddling puzzle. The "N /= 2 if even" step is removing all the rightmost 0s in the binary representation. The remaining bits on the left have "(N << 1) + N + 1"
