Can't speak to London particularly but my experience has been that the secret to better salaries is to be a dev that knows <Language/Tool> not a <Language/Tool> dev. It helps alot to have solid fundamentals that

I have to say that the style of that code bugs me ... Not using { } on your control structures is just asking for nasty non-intuitive bugs ...

It's nice to see that they post a technical analysis of the problems with some very reasonable sounding potential fixes rather than just killing the repo.

More like they're looking at fuzzy pictures of something that might be really really interesting, but isn't quite in focus enough to tell. Kind of like what you might come across in a crypto-zoological situation. They need a bet

Is anyone else seeing a bunch of missing letters in the linked pdf? I know it's a side issue but it really makes the letter hard to read.

Several of the PIC models have a low power mode where they run off an internal RC circuit somewhere in the KHz range. Just enough to wake up on an interrupt or some external stimuli and really pushes their power usage way down. For a PIC

I kind of like the Go approach to this. (i.e. a fixed bootstrapping version that is compilable from c.) It's easy to identify what you need to bootstrap and doesn't absolutely require bootstrapping every time you compile. (i.e.

My first thought on reading this is that the cabinet decorations are almost always subconsiously ignored as noise. The fact that SOs spotted the directions while the players didn't seems to confirm it as well. I say subconcious becau

Probably less drag to let the air flow through an "empty" engine rather than to have a large obstruction on the wing.

It seems like this is an abstraction on the idea of a light field camera. (i.e. each hole in the mask acts as a tiny piny hole camera in the composite ...) edit: fix typo

You have to start somewhere to be able to set your constraints. If you already know how the hardware works and what will be required there. It makes sense to do a gross estimate for the enclosure and design a board to fit.
