I know this isn't the same, but I feel like mission control set to a hot corner bypasses the password screen from time to time. I never really notice it though

Yeah, this isn't showing the preview of the second monitor (Lion), but it still captures the color. This is a GREAT app! Because it is open source, I can pick it apart and learn how to do certain programming things. Thanks author

Are you talking about editing system files through finder? Finder isn't (and shouldn't be) running as an administrator. But it is possible to run finder as root if you really want, just google it. I bet it something like killall Finde

I recently got into an endless back and forth with a guy on reddit because I said that as a web developer, I require a mac (instead of a windows machine). When asked why I said that it is a hell of a lot easier to mimic testing/dev/producti

I didn't finish the article because I read the one on Event Sourcing ( http://martinfowler.com/eaaDev/EventSourcing.html ), pretty good pattern. I like that every time he describes a new one (to me), I feel like I have to use it.

From the couple of videos, that thing looked very confusing (cool though, but confusing). I would doubt that we'd hear stories like the one posted about the Courier.

I got tired of the constant email updates about who is connected to whom and people that I should be connected with (yeah, I know you can turn that off, but ehh *linkedin offered no value to me) so I closed my account. I must give them kood

I feel silly for not developing any apps. It is just JavaScript and CSS. I've heard that a million time, but never really looked into it. edit: booting into webos would be booting into a browser the same way booting into chrome os is bootin
