Nice I love Trello. Im curious as to what decisions were made while programming the desktop version that prevents it from bing a simple cross-platform web app. I know there are custom scrollbars etc, but it has to be more than that

"Fill your github with work in that language." I love this advice. I think that I want to tackle building a Node application as my next "weekend project." I dabbled in the very beginning, but today, Node is very mature and the barrier to en

I make my own "wheat meat" which is 99% wheat gluten. It's delicious, fun, and interesting. If you arent one of those people who care or cant handle it, I suggest trying it out. There are plenty of recipes online, you'll just need about an

It's crazy how it went from "creating DOM nodes in JS is slow and shouldn't be done too often" to "lets do everything via the DOM and JS" in a matter of 2 years.

Yeah. That's what sucks about technology. So much cool innovation, but it is ultimately used against you, or the misuses are forced down your throat until you're okay with it.

I love the transformations that the OS goes through based on device, very much like responsive web design. My favorite feature is running phone apps on the side with the Windows8-like split view, great idea. I wonder how that translates to

I try to approach layout with css being "~free" and JS having a substantially higher cost. Not saying that I dont use JS to assist in laying things out, I just look for a css-first solution

This is damn cool. Im just curious as to why the developer, and a lot of developers, dont fully utilize css to handle positioning? Example, when the window resizes, some JS runs. If the colors' containers were percentage-based, the percenta

I prefer Apple's approach in all comparable apps simply because they do a better job of separating content from control. I dislike Google's grey on grey and Microsoft's "some text are buttons, take a stab at it" approach. I must be strange
