I'm not looking for a markdown editor, I have quite a few, actually (Textmate, Mou, LightPaper). I asked simply because it is a standard html wysiwyg so you could probably just change out the parser.

I wonder how trivial it would be to make it markdown. If I weren't already not-doing work on my own project(s) by reading HN... This is nice though

Chris Dodd spent ~30+ years in congress and now he is the chairman/chief lobbyist for the MPAA. Funny (sad) how that works http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Dodd

I opened in Safari and wondered what it said. I just dragged the link to Chrome to see what was going on.

I somehow didn't know about nonlocal. With that, isn't python 100% comparable with JavaScript?

So it is pronounced "ga-nome" and not "nome"? Interesting. It looks good too, I like the way modals open from a thin line to its full size.

I did something very similar in the past except I used Cosine Similarity ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosine_similarity ). It allowed me to give each tag a "weight" and when comparing the tag clouds, I would

Ehh. As a developer, I find the best way to understand a concept is to sometimes implement it from scratch. Sometimes your implementation may just be for your own edification on how the patten (doesn't) works, other times it can be use

I think that is Apple's mistake. I have to go into settings and turn the two finger pref/next pages to three, three finger spaces swipe to four just to avoid the problem you described. And why the hell don't they enable "

Ubuntu's implementation of it is a terrible design. Especially with the way the menu items would fade away if you weren't hovering over them. The approach works very well in OS X

See. This is the stuff that I don't like. While Tango is cool, self-driving cars are cool, and Google Fiber is needed, I feel like Google is only doing these things to collect data about me.

BMW's iDrive was/is considered a mess because of the single knob-do-everything approach, but it had potential for what could had been. This seems like it took what bmw had, implemented it as a virtual knob and removed the main pro

My 12 year old boy uses it as his main computing device despite having an iMac on his desk. Often times I'd walk in on him where he is reading wikipedia, watching youtube, or using it as a second screen while he plays video games. To h

As absurd as this sounds, I think he is getting at Apple providing services for Android phones. Which, to me, might be a smart move. Just like they opened up iTunes on Windows, iCloud and its services, might be a good replacement for Google

Talk about polish. When you map buttons, the controller greys out with a circle that animates its position as you choose the next button to map. Im going to hook up some dual shock 3 controllers when I get home to really test this out. edit
