HOAs have become defacto governments. exactly, and they should be forced to operate like one, with democratic elections, and the same checks and balances like any other part of the government.

Not sure how you could write a law that would get rid of the kind of HOA you make HOAs be part of the government and follow democratic rules like any government, ie. they are just a smaller form of a municipality, or a subdivision of one.

you place the camera in such a way that it only covers your own property. in germany having a camera that goes beyond your own property is even illegal, so that's the only way to place cameras there.

the sugar content is to high. sugar does not rot. that's why it's used as a preservative. it might get moldy on the outside if wet. otherwise it would just dry out.

they are not thinking running linux in a VM is a good answer, but that it is the only option they have to keep windows relevant for developers, short of porting windows itself to run on top of linux. i am confident that day will come.
