This one is not very accessible, try using tab + arrow keys to focus anything on the sidebar.

You can run it as a web app, no need for electron. Just `bun run dev`

The fact that this isn't a TUI itself is a bit disappointing. The fact that even the preview isn't a TUI is just lame. Keyboard controls are also non-functional right now.

That's amazing, great job mate. What's the number one place/site you got customers from?

Yup, I know it's been around for longer, probably wasn't the best example. But it's just the first native app I've thought of and with how much it's been changing, it constantly feels new. I do like most of it, but

In a way, this shows why I generally love using webapps over desktop apps. The level of quick customizability for something as basic as a right-click is impressive. Love that firefox offers so much control, despite the questionable defaults

I have been seeing more and more native desktop apps in the past few months (octarine for instance), but most of them would've honestly been better off as web-apps, or at least a polished electron app. > seems to be hostile to any A

> You get a working app one-shotted pretty much all the time. Can you one-shot a raycast alternative with this? This'll be the real test.

Tuna ( https://tunaformac.com ), like I mentioned earlier. Made by a really creative solo dev, minimal, and not as complex as raycast. It's a night and day difference compared to the pile of garbage Spotlight.

They'd need another 30 full time devs for that.

I can think of at least 1 major improvement to so many of the apps I use day to day. Desktop software is nowhere near good enough to consider random usecases "already done". Not that glaze looks particularly special, but there

That's true, but I just know a bunch of people looking at this will have that lingering thought at the back of their minds on how that extra 50% gets you just enough little improvements across the board to make them second guess. Apple

Agreed. This is really nice for schools. I really want this to work for me too, just because of those colors, but the RAM is really the only issue. Oh well, at least this forces every other budget laptop to compete harder.

It used to feel way better, that's the issue. Tahoe is a massive regression in my personal experience (16GB here). So many random bugs and menu bar pop-up slowdowns (how is the system menu bar this unresponsive?). Spotlight has gotten

It's perfectly capable for doing simple backend or webdev work too. Especially with a TUI editor, sqlite as a DB, and being disciplined enough to bookmark/close your browser tabs instead of leaving 150+ tabs open. I really wish th

Very tempting, but considering a macbook air m4 is often just $300-350 more, the 8GB or RAM feels like it's just enough of an asterisk to make this less of the value champion. I still really like it, but I'll probably wait for a d

I don't think going with windows is the move if you're trying to have sleep working like in a macbook. Too many stories of laptops waking up for no good reason. Linux on the other hand has always been able to sleep as expected. I&

Good news, intel panther lake (and the laptops they come in) are on par with M5 macbooks in almost every way. This year is a lot more competitive than any of the past ~4 years for premium laptops. The asus expertbook ultra even has a much b

Yup. It's a poorly written article, and the writer comes across as unpleasant to talk to. Saying "big tech is bad" with no extra context has to be one of the dumbest things I've seen on a post with this many upvotes.
