Anyone with half a brain would now think twice before even applying for that job now. When I clicked on the link, I thought it was an ad for a company that produces or sells security products - pepper spray and the likes, or maybe for a com

I found The Dreaming Void a few years ago while wandering a library desperately trying to find a good science fiction book to read - none of the suggestions I got from friends were there. I'm so glad that none of the suggestions were there.

[Pandora's Star]( http://books.google.com/books?isbn=0330518917 ) by Peter F. Hamilton. A old book, yes, but a part of some of the best science fiction I've read.

Interesting point. At first I was gonna say semantics, but in this case it matters. Guess they need to phrase it better when they start quashing the convictions.

In that blog post you point out that there was a legislation in the British parliament that would roll back convictions of gays, and that it was close to becoming a law. Whatever happened to it?

Alan Turing's contributions to science and the war time effort were immense, and immeasurable. However, granting a pardon to him and him alone won't mean much. He was guilty. The law which he broke was draconian, no doubts about it, but it

Nice, love this game. There is a similar(very similar) game on my cellphone involving a helicopter, but without any enemies or things to collect. This is definitely much more fun than that.

Try searching for something using their api, and compare with websearch. There is a world of difference between the search results. IIRC they aren't allowed to share results from some of their other sources via their api, so you can get a g

Could use different passwords for different levels, no need to different hashing algorithms. And its pretty much the same thing isn't it - different salt vs bumping the site name.

I got a similar idea when I saw this link. But I think it would be better to have it as a browser extension that automatically hashes the password/passphrase for you, depending upon the site. Different salt for different website, that chang
