Yeah, the ability to quickly make my own icons when the icon set I've bought doesn't have exactly what I need is pretty awesome.

I don't mind at all when a game is free for the first few level but then asks you to pay to unlock the full version. It's basically the same as the old shareware model, giving you an option to try out the game before purchasing. I

Yeah I wish there was a better way too. I have like 50 pages accidentally added to my reading list because "Add to reading list" is right next to "open in new tab" in that menu.

Really? I don't review anything on Yelp, but getting bed bugs from a hotel seems like the sort of thing that would make me sign up just to write one bad review.

"We have reports that you beat your wife" is not an unfair question to ask someone charged with beating his wife. Just because our legal system presumes innocence doesn't mean you can't question someone until they'v

Icomoon is great, I've been using it for a while now. I find it's pretty easy to create my own icons in inkscape and then upload them to icomoon and add them to my custom icon font.

How about you search the suspicious guy thoroughly, and then once it's clear he doesn't have any weapons you let him on the plane?

I love it too. I actually just installed the gmail app on my iPhone so I could get email sorted into those promotions and social tabs on my phone.

Snowden's activism is quite different from MLK's so I don't think that's a very fair comparison. MLK was specifically advocating for breaking unjust laws. The whole point was to get arrested and then show the world "

The icons look fine to me, and really design of these icons doesn't matter all that much when they're going to next to all the icons for other downloaded apps. You're never going to get a homescreen full of icons that don

He makes some good points, except for the complaining about the app icons. If all the built-in apps had consistent icons then you'd have half the icons on your homescreen looking the same and the other half that are made by 3rd partie

Not a very good intro to functional programming or currying mostly because it never explains WHY you would ever want to use currying.

Most of these icons look pretty bad if your browser isn't zoomed to 100% (In Chrome anyway).

In Seattle there are many people who commute across Lake Washington to get to work, where you have the 520 bridge, the I-90 bridge, or you can just drive around the lake. After reading this article I wonder if it would be effective to divid

But we're not talking about a patent on multi-touch, we're talking about pinch-to-zoom. I'm sure its very difficult to make a good multi-touch screen, especially one small, efficient, and precise enough to use on a smartphone. But once yo

After finally using Google's new maps for IOS last night (to actually find a destination I was trying to get to, as opposed to just playing around with the app), I'm really liking the ability to control zoom with a double-tap-drag. Its espe

I'm not seeing how thick vs thin clients has anything to do with the html5 vs. native debate. You can build an html5 based app that's just as "thick" as a native iOS app, it just uses a different technology to render the UI.
