People need to stop idolizing Steve Jobs like Apple only produced consistent UI when he was there. Apple have never respected its own guidelines, for example in the early days of MacOSX there were "brushed metal" apps that were su

I can't remember the last time I was excited for a macOS release. This time again there is nothing I'm looking forward in this new release.

ChromeOS stops getting updates when your hardware gets a bit too old, at that point even your web browser is no longer updated. That's ridiculous.

I think up until about 15 years ago, there was no such negativity against "screens", so it was genuinely seen as something modern to add them. With the added benefit of being more robust (no moving parts) and cheaper to change the

On Youtube you also have a choice between watching ads or subscription, I don't see the difference. Yes you can use an ad-blocker, but they're making it harder and harder. Youtube has no competition because it's a winner-take

Except now your phone is getting energy wirelessly, which is less efficient and gets hot... A big loss for a small coolness factor.

Nova Launcher is 13 years old. Having to change your launcher every 10 years isn't too bad.

I've switched to Smart Launcher about a year ago, and I'm really happy with it. Nova already seemed to be stuck 10 years in the past, also it had accumulated too many features that made it cumbersome to configure.

People who buy new cars don't do it for economic reasons, they do it so they can configure them exactly the way they want. Even then, most individuals don't buy new cars. Most of the cars on the used market come from company cars,
