This article [1] was the top google result when I searched "average car ownership length". It reports 79.3 months is the average length that Americans own a vehicle, so a little more than 6 and 1/2 years. Paying more for a ve

Just because Apple has a reputation for being secretive doesn't mean they are in this case. Most companies don't go around advertising plans to open a new office or their CEO's meeting schedule.

You might be a great candidate but how would anyone know? Something on your application needs to stand out. If you don't have a degree that's fine but recruiters need some way to filter through resumes. I'm generally not a fa

Took the quiz and completely agree. Most questions were either overly concerned with detail or too vague. High-level I don't think a quiz is necessarily the right tool either. Reminds me too much of taking the SAT or GRE.

In my opinion YC had some good wins early on but now, especially as the cohorts have gotten much larger, it’s not clear if they’re still “kingmakers”. It would be more impressive if their cohorts were still very small and had a high success

I disagree. Do you really want to be training large models locally? The effort for Apple to optimize the Mac for ML is not worth it (for anyone). The cloud is cheap and ubiquitous.
