Congratulations on the GraphQL launch. I think it is a step in the right direction :) I see a lot of mentions of Hasura in the comments. If you'd like what Supabase is building but prefer using Hasura you might want to check out what w

You might be interested in what we're building with http://nhost.io . We have serverless functions available together with event triggers (hooks) on database events using Postgres and Hasura (GraphQL). (Disclosure CEO of Nho

How many people will use it and how will it be used? What is the app exactly going to do? Whe first thing that comes to mind i Notion, which is a true no-code alternative if you want to build internal CRUD apps. The next step would be to us

Wow, this looks really cool. And if it can be used for Supabase I guess it can be used for https://nhost.io too because both are using Postgres?

Hi HN, We’re Johan and Nuno from Nhost ( https://nhost.io ). Nhost is building a backend service (like Firebase) with open-source software: SQL Database (Postgres), GraphQL API (Hasura), Auth, Storage, and Serverless Functions. We

Maybe I'm in my bubbel since I'm the founder of another "database / backend" as a service company ( https://nhost.io ) but it's been a lot of new startups in this space which is fun to see. - Firebase

I still remembered in 2018, after testing Hasura, when I had to call for an emergency meeting at my local co-working space because I was so blown away about how good Hasura was! Tweet with picture from the emergency meeting: https:/&#

I prefer having the database as a single source of truth and use something like [Hasura]( https://nhost.io ) to generate the GraphQL API.

Something like Nhost ( https://nhost.io ) might work for you. Nhost is an open source Firebase alternative with GraphQL. I also love building MVP web apps and loved Firebase. But their lack of relational database and old REST API

I was actually so frustrated by Firebase in general with their NoSQL database, with their old REST API and that everything is close source so your locked in to their service. That's why I built Nhost ( https://nhost.io ) - an

I also tested Firebase but quickly ran into issues. Firebase's database is a NoSQL database, whereas almost all my data for the apps and (micro-)SaaS I was building had relational data. Their frontend data fetching felt clunky and did
