Sounds like psychodynamics. A core part of that theory is that unbearable emotions/thoughts are relegated to the "unconscious mind."

I'm not sure I am going to articulate this in a way that is clear, but I think that hunting, farming, and fighting have a different cultural meaning in a patriarchal society vs. a matriarchal society. If the act of fighting is tied up

I think you're speaking too categorically. We do know that many matriarchal cultures exist and have existed ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matriarchy#History_and_distrib... ). The degree to which these are truly ma

To be clear, the article isn't endorsing the statement that "sore losers of undeserved privilege don't merit much sympathy." It takes seriously the idea that men are facing real problems.

No it doesn't. It does talk about how black men are heavily incarcerated. It also talks about how white men are now experiencing wage stagnation similar to that which impacted black men post-WWII.

I don't think and anyone is saying that using the bot is illegal. The issue is that DoNotPay is calling the bot a lawyer and therefor implying that it gives legal advice. Their website literally says "World's First Robot Lawy

Seems like there is a lot of unwarranted criticism of this, and I think it is from a misunderstanding of how it would be used. This is meant to be a treatment targeted to people who are addicted to opioids. It would prevent overdose deaths

Well the idea is not for everyone to get OUD vaccines. They would be targeted to people with OUD. If you did have OUD, this treatment would unfortunately probably not work for you due to your cardiac problem. However, depending on the sever

You could still OD, but it would not be a fentanyl OD, because the fentanyl in the drug would not be able to interact with the brain. If you took this vaccine, it seems like you would be just as likely to OD from heroin as you would from fe

Of course fentanyl is the preferred opioid for a reason. Using other options could increase surgical risks. But that seems pretty insignificant for anyone with OUD given how likely they are to die from overdose vs. other causes.

Yes, the manufacturing methods used in the factories are different today. For example, you can now have all the boards nailed together by robots. Other things are still the same. Electric wiring, for instance, is still a largely manual proc

Opioid overdoses are typically due how opioids effect the brain, so this would prevent fentanyl from contributing to and overdose.

The article actually discusses this: “The anti-fentanyl antibodies were specific to fentanyl and a fentanyl derivative and did not cross-react with other opioids, such as morphine. That means a vaccinated person would still be able to be tr

Wouldn't all of those changes also equally effect how the people see the reference photos? I suppose myopia might if it was not corrected, but the vast majority is corrected.

How so? They're looking for a change over time, so it would only really be an issue if we had some reason to think that people were changing how they responded to it in one year vs. the next.

I don't understand what you mean by this. I'm not sure what it is in Germany, but an auto plant employee in the US would max out there salary around $50 or $60k/year with overtime. Many make much less than that. This is proba

We could also just bury the plastic, like we do now. Most plastic cannot be decomposed by bacteria, so most of that carbon will be sequestered from the atmosphere.
