I used a different classless stylesheet once because during a live event I had to have someone who doesn't code at all update an HTML file (and upload it) repeatedly and I wanted to make it as simple as possible for them. I think I use

I'm glad we're seemingly out of the "good news is bad news" territory, where over-performing employment numbers kept driving investors to worry that the fed would further raise rates. I wouldn't say we're in &q

This isn't a review of the product. I think the public information is all you need to claim that Vision Pro asks you to look at objects and then use gestures like quickly putting your fingers together. In this post, he reflects on the

I'm glad he talked a bit about what this thing is like with a trackpad / cursor, because for productivity that seems like it's the only real way to use this device.

This comes off as weirdly hostile to someone who is on your side. Not sure if that's your intent.

No they aren't; they are complying. Apple is just angry about it. (I'd argue wrongly so.)

I think this is just plain Helvetica, with weight at 300 rather than 400. Apple used to use Helvetica, and even an ultra thin version of it, but I wouldn't say they started the trend of using Helvetica.

I like that description very much. It's a bit wordy so don't exactly fault Apple for not using it in marketing materials. But I do prefer it for more general use and might steal that!

I think we're saying the same thing, that it's not the same as 3D video. Totally fine to say their version of it is bad because you can only change perspective very little. But saying it's "only" 3D would I think co

I wish airlines would let me rent it on the plane. Alternatively, pick up at one retail store at the airport and drop off at my end destination. I'd even be fine putting down a deposit.

And in 1983, some retailers sold the Commodore 64 for as little as $199 (which would be $614 in today's dollars). I don't think their point was to suggest there are no less expensive alternatives.

No, it's not the same as 3D. They are 6DOF videos, essentially, so you can change perspective.

While I don't plan to purchase one, I do feel a desire to buy an iPhone 15 Pro just so I can start capturing spatial video just in case this DOES succeed. I won't purchase one, because I'm always a few generations of iPhones

The decision to unionize isn't about a "third party." It's a decision to negotiate collectively versus individually. Collectively you have more bargaining power, it's a pretty straightforward and obvious calculation

Many people have an old phone they could wipe, however. Even a brand new phone for this purpose would be cheaper than this smart device. Still very cool and there are UX benefits to this device.
