It doesn't really run at all on Windows, the most popular desktop operating system by a huge margin.

But now imagine you lived in place without such strong renter protections. Most of America doesn’t have rules like that.

No, you just buy a really nice suite if you want a venue for client entertainment. You buy the naming rights to mass market the brand. It's coming from the same budget as TV ads and billboards.

> No wireless technology has been a bigger flop than 5G when comparing the hype to the eventual reality. Well that’s obviously not true. I was at the launch event for WiMAX which had huge hype and now you’ve probably never heard of it.

Doesn't the Android process still involving tapping 7 times in a row on the build number in the About Device screen? There's definitely ways to create a feature that can't be found accidentally.

I agree that seems presumptive. But of course twitter conveniently didn’t share the source code for how that factor is calculated. Turns out it’s hard to evaluate a big complex distributed system by looking at just one slice and no data.

I’d really discourage browsing random websites with a browser that is years out of date.

You don't need to make complicated special rules for going after police. You just need to remove some of the existing special rules that protect them. If you can sue a doctor for malpractice you should be able to sue a police officer t

Posting a question on a forum that looks human enough to get replies doesn't sound like a challenging problem. There were chat bots hooked up to IRC decades ago that fooled people. Am I missing something?

Passive voice in a headline is always a red flag. His role "was scrutinized" by..."journalists and critics." That's true, but it's not news.

If the site ever gets popular expect to get blocked by publishers and/or to receive legal threats. Big publishers really don't like people republishing content without a license.

you can do this now with https://www.intrafi.com/ - they federate your money in $250k chunks to as many banks as it takes, but you still access it all through one main bank. I understand it pays respectable interest rates t

Uh yeah that absolutely can happen. Car rental companies are known to ban people who do chargebacks. If you refuse to pay a business what they think you owe then there’s a decent chance they won’t want future business from you.
