I agree that in an ideal world, drs would recommend your course of action. I am not debating that statins can be stopped and paxlovid taken, with statins resumed after the disease has run its course. that doesnt change the fact that doctor

For better or worse, I'm fairly certain statins do prevent drs from prescribing paxlovid on occasion. Happened to a family member. Tons of high risk / older Americans are on statins.

I read the article and my point still stands. Put yourself in the shoes of the patient (who largely drives their own care for these situations). You get covid, you go into the dr with a cough and say "dr, this is getting bad, and I

What's the alternative for those who are at high risk of being hospitalized or experiencing permanent damage from covid? Until there is a clear alternative, this drug probably isn't going anywhere.

AFAIK there hasn't really been a clear link between roundup and certain rare blood cancers. Just a correlation between them in certain geographical areas. Some studies have found the correlation and others haven't. I believe even

I feel like I’m being misunderstood and talking in circles here, and maybe that’s my fault. it’s tough to keep track of this conversation on mobile in between holiday activities. I’m going to chalk this one up as an L and move on.

I’ve never quite been able to put into words why The Great Gatsby falls short of my expectations for a “classic” novel, but Mencken nails it. This was a fascinating review and i look forward to exploring more of Mencken’s writings. Thank yo

I guess part of my rejection of the “the million fish in the sea” is the lack of sea or at least lack of time to explore it in ones life. My pond is bigger than my sea. I think we’re taking it too far at this point lol.
