Way ahead of you here. And regardless of how https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/ROCm pans out, at least you're not sinking skills into a proprietary jail.

Exactly what we expected. Systemd has become a hard dependancy, and is continuing to branch out into unrelated systems causing unnecessary changes and bugs due to poor code quality of the maintainers. I continue to standartize on Debian VM

One hour is quite enough for taxi-type and drone delivery. Also, you could use structural batteries, which would substitute for part of the plane structure.

None of this applicable for hard experimental sciences like physics and chemistry. You can't shortcut bench time, especially since it involves a lot of trial and error. And sometimes it doesn't work out, at all.

A pedelec (human-electric hybrid) on dirt roads is considerably more energy efficient (Wh/km/passenger) than trains even before factoring in the embedded energy of the vast infrastructure rail needs.

This is why I stopped using Chrome years ago. My current Firefox is configured to display the protocol along withe the FQDN, without any munging thankyouverymuch. Google is self-isolating into a walled garden. Good riddance.
