Wow. This seems particularly helpful since it allows you to process more information when your sense of sight is otherwise busy.

Nice work. Somehow this reminds me of Harvest Moon 64 music. I'm not sure I felt these were necessarily catchy (but I think that comes from repetition), but they were incredibly pleasant and interesting. Also, obligatory re: earworms:

Great points! Thanks for hopping in and adding extra color. Navigating a whole portfolio through a flat/down environment sounds incredibly stressful. If the driver of these changing environments is predominantly investor perception, pu

You're right -- it's a bit harsh. I've been on both sides of the investment committee meetings. As a result of that, I've seen (and delivered) this messaging before. Matt's an excellent investor and someone I respe

That's a great nuance. I was referring to it being in their favor for dealmaking. Here's another one from 1 month ago: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/darian314_founders-activity-6...

VCs love to tell everyone the market is moving in their favor (lower valuations, fewer deals, etc). It’s like car salespeople telling you this car won’t last long. Some of it may indeed be true, but it’s in their favor to give founders anxi

Hey, thanks for the (implied?) question. We are a lot more concerned with making customers feel like part of the company’s growth than worrying about competitors. Our customers love seeing the roadmap. And we are lucky to have an engineerin

This is right on the money. One emergent use case is that teams who can’t get all the fields they need added to Jira end up going around it to do their work. (The qa team, for example, may not have leverage to get a whole bunch of checkboxe

Hey, that means a lot. Thanks. It does seem there are a lot of methodologies being used with the product. And agilefall does seem to be making a comeback. But a fair number just use it as a faster way to plan the sprints and run standup. (V

I've heard great things about some of those tools! The challenge is that many people working as part of bigger teams can't pick their own tools or really make a change unilaterally. So they need a way to make things work for them

A very high percentage of Visor users add custom columns to add context. This is data they create in the product that doesn't sync to Jira. So the workflow seems to go beyond unidirectional reporting. It seems that no reporting tool i

It was a two-directional affair for them. Not just about reporting to a spreadsheet, but also about be able to shift things around during a meeting and then "sync" back at the end of the meeting. So a lot of stuff that's ha

Ugh. Yeah, this is more common than one would hope. I met someone with a Masters in CS who worked at a public database company whose primary role was to keep the spreadsheet up-to-date with Jira data. What a waste of talent!

Really glad to hear it resonates. I hope it saves your team some time and makes things run smoother. Feedback is very welcome! There's an in-product Feedback button that submits right to our CRM / slack channel.

From what we've seen, it's a control thing. IT or execs want control & reporting. So they force everyone on Jira. But then the people actually working day-to-day need flexibility. So they end up creating extra spreadsheets

The import should respect hierarchies from advanced roadmaps (e.g. initiatives). That was a whole project. It was launched in this release: https://support.visor.us/release-notes/11822-release

WASM seems so powerful but I can't think of any popular products built with it. The fact that this post exists seems to confirm that. For now: mostly startups. Who is doing something at scale that leverages WASM?
