It's not a popup. It could be a tab. Or it could be a tooltip near the wrench. With the bar at the bottom, you have to close the bar out everytime and that is just a bunch of clicks no one really wants.

We extensively tested this inside Viralheat with a write heavy load of over 30,000 writes per second and basically it failed our test. It is not robust for the analytics world is the conclusion we came to. Though, I hope it gets better one
