I switched to contacts from glasses a few months ago, the first few weeks were by far the worst. You get used to it (or at least I did).

I'm allergic to cats and I'm normally fine as long as I take a benadryl (or similar medicine) when I arrive so discomfort is minimal, and they spend a lot more time with the cat than I do so having a cat seems fine.

Apple doesn't need to (although it would be nice) and the high speculations are probably helping them. ie. more people developing apps hoping to make money.

There are calculators for multiplication, once you know the basics you don't want to have to multiply arbitrarily large numbers by hand.

You can always copy and paste a question mark (?). I don't recommend coding that way, I once tried coding with the left quarter of the keyboard broken, not fun.

As a teenager the problem seems to be twitter doesn't solve a problem most teens are having (facebook status updates are good enough for them) and not enough people they care about are using it.

Doesn't work for me in chrome. Although, I'm running the alpha for linux so that might have something to do with it. Has anybody tried it with chrome on windows?

I've been running the chrome alpha on linux for a few days and haven't had any major problems. (Although it would be nice if it could import bookmarks.)

For linux ktimetracker which can automatically time a task only when it's in a certain desktop. Of course my main reason for using it was to keep myself from wasting too much time on hn and other websites. :)

Encryption is probably irrelevant because the password for it will be in the code, although it will make it slightly harder if someone gains access to your server.

Just put the cost of insurance in a bank account for cheap common problems. Not only do you not have to pay the overhead, but the bank pays you interest. :) It should (but won't necessarily) average out.

I usually read the comments first and only read the article if the comments are good. I look at domain when their are no comments and the title seems linkbaity.
