They aren't, or they shouldn't be, but that's the point of the parent's comment. Look at the videos flagged by youtube or copyright trolls, a lot of them are not actual copyright violations, but they are flagged anyway b

Ads work because they're embedded in interesting or useful things. No one would use a search engine composed of 100% ads. Chat-GPT can be used for this: returing interesting results. The ads don't have to be served through chat-GP

And that's perfectly fine. Humans have exactly the same problem. They will get this wrong, and you will reply "no, I'm talking about the android version". Language is ambiguous so we cannot expect machines to get it righ

This can clearly be guessed from a search as well. Popularity can be well defined, and in the case of Obama, there is clearly one much more popular than the others.

The learning curve mostly. And most things you need are there out of the box, or very easy to install. Also plugins like remote ssh. Overall it just works without too much effort.

Definitely not the same effect. The vscode application is much nicer than a terminal, has lot of plugins that I'm not sure exist for vim. And you can disable telemetry. And it's much faster to learn

I completely disagree, I think it is very unclear. They could show one direct answer + one or a few related ad, which I think might increase a lot the CTR.

It has nothing to do with your prompt. The site is just overloaded. It takes the same amout of time for every prompt, no matter it's complexity or simplicity, it's just the length that matters.

It's just a tool. It doesn't make sense to call it art or non art. The human intent is what makes it art, and other human's opinion is what makes it valuable art. This is like saying "is the output of a camera art or not

Yes but that's why I say it doesn't scale if you have to go there in person. So having an automated way of getting names is not particularly helpful. The hard and time-consuming part is going there in person or calling the company
