PG text search is entirely accurate. The author just screwed something up. Probably forgot to include the regconfig (english vs simple for example)

New versions of Postgres usually ship in September. Except 9.4, which slipped to December.

Is there a chemical reason for that, or is it more from physical stress like dropping?

Who cares? As long as we can cash in our options before the lawsuits come in, we win! Just like my last job in finance, actually. Plus SQL's gross. You can't even webscale with it, and old people like it, so it must suck.

Excellent! Congrats to the team. Glad to see postgres 9.4 in packages, and more improvements to libressl. Anybody got an opinion on a decent openbsd vps?

I managed to graduate high school near the end of the early 90s recession, university at the beginning of the dot com bust, and B-School in the beginning of the 2008 meltdown. I promise to never to go back to school again.

I agree with OP that the user authentication data should be segregated, simple, and very well protected. It should act like a hardware security module: it will authenticate users, but never give up their keys. I tried to find decent hashing

Mr. Marsten is the type of writer / programmer I dislike. Brevity is the soul of wit. Here's a summary: Dependency injection's primary benefit is to aid unit testing.

Since the author didn't bother to mention any threat models, we can assume that the threat is the most common one, SQL Injection. You don't need SQL Injection if you can directly read the database file, or can operate as the web s
