I don't think this is a right analogy, because the code can't "go bad" on its own one day (as if some capacitor would go dry), unless you modify it to do so. Maybe when you don't have access to the source code and y

I was trying to write a tutorial about how to setup Kubernetes on bare metal. I have created etcd cluster of 5 nodes that checks certificates of clients that communicate with it for security. Sadly I found that at least one command in Kuber

I think when you have to resort to using debugger, probably it is better to discard the code entirely and rethink the solution.

I did something similar in the distant past, that is I wrote subset of C compiler (functions, standard types, pointers) to imaginary assembler and then bytecode interpreter. It was awesome fun, but also I got so into it my - then - girlfrie

I mean food and accommodation can be cheap but for the rest you pay "western" prices which makes it less appealing. You have to save for a new piece of technology longer and when going to places like UK stay in hostels and eat tin

I haven't got anything through that service. From my point of view they are just collecting data and not doing anything.

High level of abstractions accumulate especially in big monolithic applications and I agree it takes time to get the feature in. Especially, you have to get an idea of what code has already been written and how it plays with the components

Then maybe we are not on the same page. I would assume company is already using one or another project tracking tool or distributed source control. I can't think of companies that are not doing this as being relevant.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Driver with that experience could more easily find a job in the field.
