I was a well regarded SRE/devops programmer & network, cybersec type person. I saved enough $$$ living minimally to principally retire in 2014 at age 37. I did some digital nomad travel (47 countries) and unicorn chasing (criteri

WTF. This is the second time in less than 12 hours I've learned about Echolalia (the other was on Reddit a thread of "weirdest things that happened on dates"). Very odd coincidence.

+1 -- yes if you must develop AWS lambda, then serverless is the BEST way. BUT .. I should also say that while I started ~5 years ago with serverless framework, in the past year I've completely transitioned everything over to the Azure

This article is very out of date. I used it for research in a project month ago and found many of the chips it mentions are end of life / discontinued now. The prices of those chips (if available) are actually higher due to their shor

eBay is not same-same, it's much more marketplace-esque. eBay does not use a consolidated product listing, much more like a bulletin board each sellers products being sold under it's own URL. Amazon consolidates the listing for a

The article is a bit light on details. It could be bullsh*t. I'm not defending it. HOWEVER I've been studying biogenesis within c3/c4 plants and there are some fascinating structures inside natural systems. I'm amazed at

@jsilence - the GrowPotBot is micro-scale but using relays it could control a much bigger system so a single unit could control a greenhouse or space-station. Just like a PC could control one light in your home or many. For a space station

We're talking about synthetically accelerating organic life here. If the byproduct is cleaner air through photosynthesis generated from renewable power is that really a problem? Isn't that just efficiency? The concern isn't
