I would be surprised they have any data about this. There are so many ways LLMs can be involved, from writing everything, to making text more concise or just "simple proofreading". Detecting all this with certainty is not trivial

EcmaScript is a terrible name, there is no way people will call JS that. How do you even pronounce it? What does it mean? What is it?

You can say it about the AI companies, but Google or Microsoft are far from AI companies.

If someone has the resources to do this, it is Apple. For a product that can be used by billions of people, having an engineer dedicated to a single intent wouldn't be that wasteful :D

Siri is probably among the products which had the most exposure to users (probably a billion+ users throughout iPhone's history) without capturing that opportunity to actually do anything meaningful with the huge user base it got for f

Seems like a 'you either die a hero or you live long enough to become the villain' type of behaviour, which is not uncommon to see in projects like these. Let's hope Codeberg doesn't end up in the same bucket.

The vibe from the first video reminds me of Warcraft 3 and DotA. DotA was effectively a simple map that changed online gaming, e-sports, and I am sure there are millions/billions of hours spent by players in a very simple looking lands

Wants all the power without actually doing the CEO's job. Quite ridiculous, similarly how there were two heads of "DOGE" or Twitter having Linda Yaccarino as the CEO.

It is just a question of how long can Mozilla hold its ground with useless initiatives like this which are not what their core user base wants. Firefox and Thunderbird, that is it. Everything else was just a ridiculous time and money sink w

Not even close. You can walk on a road, take a cycle, take a car. You effectively need no maintenance for the most part of it, or someone running something on it. 1 car, 1000 cars, there is no difference in 'running the road'. On
