Please, let's be rational about this. A new language takes time to gain widespread use. Or are you telling me that Go, Scala, <put your favorite new hotness> all account for nothing? We the developer community are in a transition

I don't get it, nobody is forcing you to do all the type level hackery that you can conjure, why rant about it? It gives tools to those who need it in a simple and elegant way, why is this a problem? Use the features you find useful, d

What matrix are you using where Scala wouldn't make it in top 10? I would bet it would be one of the top choices.

Ubuntu mono always seemed a bit crowded to me, it was my default before I got my hands on Consolas. With infinality freetype it looks really beautiful too.

Hi, thanks for your efforts. Is it 64 bit or 32 bit? Can't use 32 bit isos, stuck with 64 bit only UEFI system :( How about a 64 bit (working :P ) kubuntu-active iso as well?

I don't expect them to clone my repo and see my work AND I don't expect them to see the readme. They won't understand (quite understandably) most of the work I do and it will not have any GUI candies to show either :) What yo

You were lucky that you were able to find customers :) I have faced problems with HR people demanding "commercial" experience in some technology and not caring at all about your open source work.

Still it's pretty hard to sell GitHub projects to HR drones who want "commercial experience" and might not even know about GitHub. No matter how good your code is, if it's not seen by someone who can judge it, you can&#x

I really really hope it changes to [] in future. I am scared of the code with lots of <>, I don't know why but I lose context.

You list Qt core but that's not what I use Qt for. I use it to make GUI apps and it's pretty darn good at it. QML is the way forward for making GUI apps, you are not supposed to use javascript much (although you can make complete

Thanks for shedding the light. I really really wish they had chosen [] instead of <>. I use Scala and I have fallen in love with how clean [] looks. Good to know the reasoning behind ::. Waiting for Rust 1.0, after it gets released it

There might be some reasons to have <> instead of [] for specifying Type arguments (I think [] are a lot easier to read). I can't fathom the reasoning behind choosing "::" instead of a ".".

But the ringing only starts once the target phone responds to the paging from network, otherwise the network just keeps on searching and after a timeout informs that the target phone is unreachable or out of coverage area.

No, you will not hear a ringing. The ringing only starts after the phone you are calling has been contacted. When you pull the battery out, the network will keep on searching for your phone and since no phone replies, it will inform you tha

If you think you are good at coding, why not get into any of the top IT (by employees) companies. I know they are recruiting the lowest of the bottom barrel. Why not join them and make a decent pay and a career while meeting some experience
