I’d like to bet someone on this. If you or others are interested maybe we can refine a wager. :) I’m thinking that in 7 years there will be something built with blockchain tech (not cryptocurrency) that is used by 10M people? (I know you s

Absolutely. A bit more fair might be that startups often "collapse under the weight of unrealized DREAMS" :)

No, the fans that don't get a ticket are just at the "new/unkown" part of the line. They cannot be worse off than now. For the payment lag, that's what we have now with Visa/MC. No difference.

Awesome. You don't want VC, and you don't need VC! Stick to it and it sounds like you'll have a great outcome, entirely under your control.

To eliminate scalpers, I don't need to know who's behind a wallet, I just need to look at the wallet and see it's a first-time buyer from me (Ticketmaster) or the performer. Either way, it can go to towards the back of the l

I think a case can be made that Ticketmaster will be replaced (or replace itself) with blockchain tech that will eliminate scalpers. Visa and Mastercard will most likely be replaced or dramatically lower fees. Banks will be upended.

It doesn't sound like you really tried to get this funding, but are mildly peeved it wasn't offered? If you want it, go get it. Unrelated: VCs aren't looking for 10x growth in the next 2 years. That's not a VC playbo

In theory smart contracts (and some blockchain:world interface to handle customer service/chargebacks/etc) could handle these.

More likely you’re being downvoted for the casual non-solution to a common and real problem people are wrestling with. If people were all talking about how they try to avoid over-eating, saying “oh I just don’t over-eat. That’s my solution”

Honest question: What if coinbase is hacked, and the info connecting people's verified real-world identities to their wallet is revealed? Now everything is public - isn't that worse?
