Did you read the second book? Voldemort's diary plays a huge part in that one, so it's not surprising that the characters would find Voldemort's text book interesting or ominous (possible horcrux too).

Cacao beans are 54% fat, I don't think you'll get a powder if you just grind them, you'd get some sort of mush. In my country there isn't even a thing called cocoa, it's all cacao with a k, kakao. Kakao beans, kakao

The article you linked talks about cacao being the raw bean and cocoa being the processed powder. It also says you can get cacao from chocolate bars. I don't think there is a difference between cocoa powder and cacao powder. > “Thin

Just milk and cacao powder is good too, though both milk and coconut cream contains some sugar.

It's not surprising that food prices rise when gasoline and natural gas prices rise. You need the gas for transporting and producing food, and you need natural gas for manufacturing fertilizer.

My father also grew up poor with rabbits. They would feed the rabbits things they would otherwise throw away, like carrot leaves and potato peels. Then they would eat the rabbits. Great way to turn inedible plants into edible protein.
