See the table on this page [1]. The Office365 team is pretty aggressive about dropping support for IE8 and —beginning next year—IE9. [1] https://support.office.com/en-US/article/Office-365-system-r...

I have Verizon, and tethering just comes out of my 5GB data cap. I've never even come close to using all my data, but then again, I'm somewhat frugal with my data when I am tethering.

I have just stopped connecting to most wifi hotspots altogether unless I'm going to be somewhere for a few days (hotel, conference, etc). LTE is just faster and more reliable, and tethering is dead simple these days.

If it does have 3 radios, that's awesome. They should make that much more explicit. I've looked all over their site, and I can't find anything that confirms this. Everything on their website just references plain old simultan

I don't see anything on the spec sheets for the Fritz!Box 7490 that show it has more than 2 radios, like most dual band APs out there today. Google's spec sheet [1] specifically has 3 radios: http://i.imgur.com/x7C

It has a 3rd radio that monitors the channels you aren't currently using to see if any of them are better. The first two radios in the device can't switch without dropping connections, so they can't go hunting for new chann

In my experience, Dropbox responds to all file system I/O, even those outside of the Dropbox folders, strangely. If I'm running, say, npm install or bundle install or installing Xcode (or doing anything else I/O heavy), Dropb

+1 This is a deal-breaker for me. I have limited SSD space on my MBP, so my Lightroom catalog is on an external hard drive. I can easily go 30 days between plugging it in. That drive contains, by a very wide margin, my most important and le

Git Tower is by far the best GUI I've used for git. It's not cheap ($59), but absolutely worth it, IMO. It's fast, it's regularly updated and supported, and it's powerful enough to do complex stuff (rebases, merges,

At the very bottom of the documentation page linked from this page [1], it says it will be removed. Sounds pretty definitive to me. Garbage collection is deprecated in OS X Mountain Lion v10.8, and will be removed in a future version of OS

Sandboxed applications in OS X can read/write to arbitrary locations if they use the system Open/Save dialogs to ask the user about those files (after opting into sandboxing, of course). See here [1]. For files and folders the use
