Sad sad story. It was the best social network that existed, and before it shut down it had so gotten so much right that I think no others have matched anywhere near the complete feature sets.

If you have access to Java you have a good language at your disposal already, and chances are you'll get away with Kotlin too. I came to Java as my 6th or so language (small amounts of Basic, VB, C, Assembly and Javascript before) and

At this point your argument is a classic straw man: Define what the opponent means or believes and then put that definition up to tear it down.

Jesus himself was extremely pragmatic in some cases: Give to the Caesar what belongs to the Caesar and all that. People who don't practice should probably study the Bible a whole lot more before telling practicing Christians what to do

When I started VB and Java Swing interfaces were allowed. Today, every single business application is somehow supposed to have its own design language and can't use any standard UI library. Also, deeply ironically, I think now certain

The color coded rings on resistors is a mightily bad idea, at least as implemented on resistors. I'm not that colorblind, I see traffic lights, fruits between leaves and other things others have problems with, basically everything ex

I have had KDE Neon running on one or more devices the last 6 or so years. It is built on an Ubuntu base and is almost like Kubuntu, except I think it is set up by people in the KDE community. For me the difference felt enourmous.
