Thank you! I didn’t realize it was that common. Seems very useful for building robot AI without needing to keep your robot safe In the process.

Cool! I was thinking doing something similar. Question: why not put everything into the SQLite DB as opposed to files next to the db in an archive?

The reason I started / made cloudcmd [0] back around 2009 is that I saw this coming. My goal was to build a decentralized storage system with search capabilities and smart enough that you could rebalance storage based on cost and conv

While it all feels insane from one perspective, it’s not hard to imagine a different narrative where the “founders of ‘insane asylum’ hacked the startup system, were product first, got acquired, and used their new home to pay down tech debt

I’ve recently been working on an ESP32 variant of something similar [0]. ZMOB-like designs are so much fun to think about. [0] https://twitter.com/eismcc/status/1201310140416217089?s=20

Yes. Before college, I worked two years as a night shift machine operator in a cup factory. Try taking the SAT the morning after a full night of work.

Wow! Great work! The next thing that would be useful is an AR integration. I’d prefer that over google street view.

>And there is one last piece of insight that drives Cohen, and is perhaps the key to it all. “Always remember, that just because we don’t know how to do it, is not a reason for us not to do it.”

In March I started swimming much more due to injury. Swam 250k yards in 3mo. One session was 10k in the pool. Getting past the boredom is a skill. In my experience it’s mostly a symptom of not focusing on your form. Don’t use a watch and

Maybe not golden but at least direct. Very few layers between you and the machine, and to some extent infinite possibilities. On the other hand you could easily hit resource walls. OTOH, microcontrollers haven’t changed much since then - at

I would expect the forces go both ways. The fuselages have their own forces on the wings and since they are essentially sub-planes I’d imagine the forces could both strong and un coordinated - eg one trying to go one way while the other tr

How did they prevent the two fuselages from torquing the wing apart? Seems like keeping both “sub-planes” from ripping the middle wing apart would be challenging.
