Great to hear. However even if Linux the kernel is real-time, likely the hardware won't be due to caches and internal magic CPU trickery. Big complex hardware is a no-no for true real-time. That's why AbsInt and WCET tools mainly

"Hiding" a file as a raw blob with a tag pointing to it, isn't bad if the thing should be able to expire. If a thing is truly expired, then why have it fill-up the commit graph. That said, a public key - even an expired one -

Major pain point of monorepos: Merge-conflicts. When a merge-conflict happens YOU need to be expert and resolve all conflicts the right way, across the many unrelated domains mixed together. How does sapling solve that? It can't... IMH

Does any European bank actually have a public API? My bank (Danske Bank) does not. Even the first step of logging-in with our digital sign-on (NemID) is a bit tricky to automate. (MitID's rsa key fob might make it easier)

Problem is zsh is not omnipresent like bash is. I'm sure that if you use zsh you also use Plan 9, code in D, write LuaTeX in Emacs and wear a monocle.
